Our #1 priority is giving you the service (and time) you deserve. Quality over quantity. As engineers at heart-- we're not here to crank through as many jobs as humanly possible. We're here to systematically navigate your vehicle repair journey with the added mobile convenience of servicing at your home or work.

Hello! At The Neighborhood Mechanic we strive to provide a personalized, transparent repair experience. We understand that in a commission-based industry it can be difficult to find a service partner who will spend the time to properly diagnose and fix the root cause of your issue with honesty at the forefront. Our garage offers a comprehensive tool set for your repair & service needs, though if we feel you would be best served elsewhere we'll let you know.

services we currently offer

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

- Vehicle service intervals (oil/fluid changes, top ups, brakes/rotors, spark plugs, air filters, etc.)

DIAGNOSIS

- Troubleshoot part(s) or system(s)
- Monitor live sensor data
- Check engine light 

BRAKES

- Brake pads, rotors, calipers, bearings, etc.

- Fluid flushes (full system)

- Disc, drum, parking brakes. Full system service

- Tire rotations, TPMS reset

OIL SYSTEMS

- Engine maintenance  (we offer anything from routine preventative maintenance to full engine/transmission replacements)

- Fluid Services (engine, transmission)

COOLANT SYSTEMS

- Leak diagnosis

-Water pump, thermostat, oil cooler, radiator, heater core, adapters, hoses, etc.

- Coolant fluid services

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

-  Spark plugs, alternator, battery, harness repair, misfire diagnostics, etc.

- Aftermarket stereo / speaker / subwoofer install

- Aftermarket rearview camera installation

SUSPENSION

- Struts, tie rods, ball joints, sway bar links, control arm bushings, CV axles, engine motor mounts

AC SYSTEMS (R134, R1234)

EPA certified ✅ (608, 609) 

- Full system refrigerant recovery, N2 pressure testing (leaks), UV dye, system evacuation, refrigerant recharge to manufacturer specifications

FUEL/AIR SYSTEMS

- Fuel injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, no start diagnostic.

- Smoke testing (air leaks)

- EVAP/emission repairs

- Sensor data monitoring, diagnostic and repair

No-Start Diagnostic

- Mobile service: We come to you! Diagnose & repair your NO START condition, and save you the costs of a tow 💪 

These are example jobs we can take on, but is not fully encompassing on what we're willing to perform. Our services offers a relatively comprehensive tool set for your repair needs (though we can't do everything). We currently do not offer tire balancing, custom engine tuning, welding, engine machining-- but we do typically subcontract those specific portions out if the repair job is multi-faceted. While we offer mobile services for you (more work for us compared to a traditional repair shop environment)-- we intend to deliver a convenient, professional grade result. We will be honest if we feel you would be best served elsewhere.
