About Us
Hello! My name's Phil, and I'd be honored to be your mechanic! At The Neighborhood Mechanic we strive to offer a more personalized, transparent auto repair experience. Offering mobile mechanic services-- we come to you! Operating out of our residential garage (in Broomfield near 136th/Sheridan), we're registered and licensed for business. We are committed to a more personalized, client-centric experience, with quality as our top priority.
Whether it be maintenance, diagnosis/repair, or a more involved overhaul-- we're here for it!
Background
I'm a graduate from Purdue University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and while my past professional experience has included spacecraft electromechanical system assembly, and rocket booster manufacturing-- I've always rather enjoyed the flexible, systemic processing of troubleshooting, planning, and physically repairing vehicles. What started many years ago as recreational maintenance has evolved and extended into a commission-based environment serving families, friends, and neighbors. From basic maintenance/service, to deeper investigations and extensive repairs/overhauls-- we're committed to being a part of the solution.
I've set out on this journey with a greater mission to better serve and support the local ecosystem around me through my technical professional services. With customer service and transparency at the forefront-- I intend to provide a positive, transparent, customer-oriented experience. Serving Broomfield, Westminster, Thornton, Arvada, Erie, Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, Boulder, etc.-- we hope we can serve your automotive needs in our professionally executed, yet informal work environment.

At The Neighborhood Mechanic my wife and I strive to provide a personalized, transparent repair experience. We understand that in a commission-based industry it can be difficult to find a service partner who will spend the time to properly diagnose and fix the root cause of your issue with honesty at the forefront. As engineers at heart-- we focus on quality over quantity, with hopes to earn your trust. We're not here to be the cheapest-- we're here to take our time, do things right, and put high quality parts to work keeping your vehicle running as well as it can, with mobile convenience too (we come to you!). From basic maintenance, diagnostics, to more complex overhauls (engines/transmissions, etc), we're here to help.
